Prenatal Yoga

Practicing yoga with other pregnant women can be a great time to meet fellow moms and build friendships and a support system. Yoga experience not needed. Much like other types of childbirth-preparation classes, prenatal yoga is a multifaceted approach to exercise that encourages stretching, mental centering and focused breathing. Research suggests that prenatal yoga is safe and can have many benefits for pregnant women and their babies such as:

An approachable guided meditation with some restorative postures but very little physical movement. This class is attended to completely relax mind and body by taking a journey inward with intention and mindfulness. Bringing in pranayama (breathing) exercises providing mental, physical, and emotional benefits. Working with chakras stimulating the bodies energy and release any stagnant energy fields within.
