Dee has been serving birthing families in the Tampa Bay area since 1995. She has attended 500 births in all locations; hospital, home, birth center, parking lot (oops!). Dee teaches HypnoBirthing®, the Mongan Method and is the only Certified HypnoBirthing Professional Labor Companion in our area. Dee is a Certified Lactation Counselor and runs a monthly breastfeeding support group. She also rents birthing tubs to moms having waterbirths. Dee’s passion is helping moms to the best possible birth experience, regardless of circumstance.  In her private life, Dee is an avid hiker and reader. Completing all 2200 miles of the Appalachian  Trail is one of her prized achievements.  Dee is on the Board of Directors of the Seventh Mom Project, whose area of interest is perinatal mood disorders. She is a member of ICAN, TBBN, the HypnoBirthing Institute and FTA.
